China recruiting diggers seems an unusual term to apply to SHI Group. However, I sense it fits well.
Waiting and hoping to get lucky is not our style. In China’s weak 2024 economy, hiring is good for hiring managers and tough on Chinese employees, so that puts a twist on our normal recruiting process. At this point, we put up a post for a job position, and the resumes start pouring in. If we filter through those and find no good candidates we start digging. In a better economy, we start digging immediately.
Our original dig is to uncover passive candidates. Good candidates often have good jobs, and are not out applying for work. Digging requires the tough work of searching under every rock, and talking to all to see who might be available to take a step forward toward accepting a new job.
In the weak economy, the filtering of candidates becomes much harder. Many candidates get too desperate and start falsifying their resumes. This makes our process much more important.
We carefully and deeply interview. Then, we pitch the possible candidates to you to interview. If you find any of the ones we pitch you possible hires, then we go to work on the background check. We never do a cursory background check like is commonly done around us. We dig deep and verify each reference and search for more verifiable objective facts. These facts cause the best candidates to rise to the surface while the worst get tossed out. We give you the facts we uncover, so you can see why we recommend some and seek to withdraw others.
Some guys have a hard time getting any of their references to be references. This is because their previous bosses think they were a bad hire. Some accept to reference and never realize that the answers they give us show that the candidate did not have the job title he said he had or do the work he said he did. Digging takes many forms, but all of it leads to over 96% successful placements.
