How To Reimagine Your Company

I saw the word, reimagine, over at the Procurement Leaders Blog and wanted to speak to reimagining.

Many of us know that the best leaders found via research were unknowns.  Good to Great showed this.

These guys were not creative geniuses.   How did they reimagine from good to great?

They first selected the right Who and then together these teams reimagined from a clear base of Who they were as a company.  They avoided what at the start.

Great teams produce open ideological conflict like emphasized in Five Dysfunctions of a Team.   6 people with different personalities mixing it up can produce more thought and sharpen more thought than any one guy in a small room.

Great leaders are not usually the most creative guys, but that does not mean they cannot reimagine their companies.
